Carl Arrived in Bermuda - "Land Ho!"

At 5:37am on 5/23/09 the catamaran s/v "Going" with our son, Carl, onboard arrived at St. George's Harbour, Bermuda. Underway they repaired the steering. In the harbour they repaired the autohelm. Yesterday they toured the island. Today we hope to talk with him on Skype. This completes the first leg of their journey - approximately 1,000 miles. The next leg is the long one to the Azores. From there they are on to Portugal and then to Mallorca (Majorca) where captain Gorch and his wife Ingred live.
