Dinghy Dock at Boot Key Harbor, Marathon, FL

On Easter Sunday we walked to the Community United Methodist Church in Marathon, FL. Sandpiper is on a mooring ball in Boot Key Harbor and our dinghy is our mode of transportation to get to land. Walking is our primary mode on land. We are getting some repairs done and hope to start east and north by about April 18, weather permitting. We have at least 22 days of 50 mile days of travel ahead of us to return to Virginia. With shore leave and rest days we hope to be in Virginia by early to mid June. We plan to be in Illinois July through September and then turn Sandpiper south toward the Exhumas in the Bahamas for 2010.
