Sandpiper Finds a Sister Ship

As we left Isle of Palms, SC we were hailed on the radio by Dave and Peggy Scott from Hampton, VA aboard Destiny, their Offshore 40 sailboat. This is the first time we have seen another Offshore 40, sistership of Sandpiper. On the left they are visiting Sandpiper in Charleston and on the right Destiny is underway again. Dave is retired Navy and they have been living aboard for 9 years. We had a good time comparing boats and sharing ideas with each other. Loy has a lot of pictures of good ideas Dave and Peggy have developed on Destiny. They are head south and we hope to cross paths with them again.
