Gorch and Ingred on Sandpiper

We caught up with Gorch and Ingred who sailed aboard the catamaran, "Going", from Germany in Charleston, SC for a reunion. We first met them in the spring of 07 in the Dismal Swamp canal. We enjoyed dinner together on Sandpiper and left Charleston in the morning and met again that evening to anchor in Tom's Point Creek, SC. On 12/13/08 we met again at Port Royal Landing Marina, SC - one of our favorite marinas. There we had giant hamburgers at the Back Porch bar and grill. Perhaps not healthy, but a real taste of America.

The best part of our trip has been the interesting people we meet and the stories we hear along the way. We hope to meet Gorch and Ingred again at Jekyll Island where they will be visiting with friends.
