On the move again toward Venice, FL

Repairs are completed and the weather has cleared. On Sunday, 3/20/05, we will leave Sarasota and go South to Venice, Fl. We will probably spend a couple of days in Naples as we move South. We expect warmer weather and within a few days the beginning of the Florida Keys. We have new life lines and gate latches and a new Si Tex single side band receiver for weather reports and weather faxes. Our plan is to go to Marathon and provision for our crossing to the Bahamas. Our time is Sarasota has been longer than we expected and also more delightful than we expected. Last night we went to the Sarasota ballet and saw the story of John and Mabel Ringling's time in Sarasota staged by the ballet corps and performances by the Sarasota circus. It was an exciting evening. We have met sailors from Pennsylvania and Vermont and enjoyed exchanging information and sharing stories and meals with them.
