St. Augustine, FL

We sailed with Claudia and Uwe to St. Augustine where we enjoyed Belgian pastires, art galleries and German beer. David Nelson drove his parents to Daytona Beach and came to visit us in St. Augustine at the municipal marina. It was his first time aboard Sandpiper and he brought a lot of news of home and friends. From St. Augustine we sailed with Okeanis to Daytona Beach and anchored south of memorial bridge. On inauguration day we took the dinghy across the intercoastal to the Acquarium Restaurant where they let us watch the exciting events of Obama's inauguration. We had grog Okeanis and bade Claudia and Uwe farewell since they will be sailing back to the Mediteranian this spring. We are sleeping under all the blankets we have on board with the temperature going to freezing and below at night.
