On Jekyll Island we visited the Georgia Sea Turle Center where these gentle endangered creatures who are injured or sick are treated and released. We had intended to leave Jekyll Island for Ferandina Beach this morning but due to heavy rain we are delaying our departure until tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/14/09. From Ferandina Beach we will travel one more day to St. Augustine Florida and will spend several days there enjoying this historic city, oldest in the United States.
