Resuming travel on the Neuse River

The wind settled down and we had a great day on the Neuse. We passed the tall ship Miaka II and talked to the captain on the radio. We admired another sailboat Peaceful Warrior until she tacked too close to us and we made an unwise quick turn with the double error producing a near collission in open waters. Our nerves settled down at the homey Dowrey Marina where we watched two herds of deer feeding in the fields after dark.
