Stiltville in Biscayne Bay

Finally the weather has settled down and given us an opening to head south for the two day run to Boot Key with an overnight stop at Rodriguez Key. On the way out the Biscayne channel runs through the area called Stiltville which has a colorful history. During prohibition these house were famous as speakeasys and bordellos off the coast from Miami. Now a few have survived the huricanes and are maintained by the park service for their historical signficance.
