We are on our way South!

After a successful sea trial on 1/12 we left Port Royal Landing Marina in Beaufort, SC on 1/13 at 7:45 am. We have very warm feelings for the town of Beaufort and the staff of PRLM. We are already looking forward to staying with them again on our return trip in the summer. All of our repairs held up well today as we headed South. The weather was warm and sunny. When we arrived in Savannah at 3:15 pm we unpacked our folding bikes and rode through the colonial homes of Isle of Hope. On the dock we met Linda and Al Anderson of St. Charles, IL who are traveling on their motor trawler, "Signature". How strange to travel so far to meet our neighbors from home.
