Ernie and Carolyn Steller in St. Augustine

We stopped in St. Augustine, FL at the municipal marina to wait out gale force winds and while walking downtown met our good friends Ernie and Carolyn who live on the border of New Hampshire and Maine and sail on "Hispanolia". Here we enjoy the spirits and music at the Trade Winds bar in St. Augustine with a copy of Gaugan's painting and photographs of country western singers decorating the walls.

Because of Ernie's experience as a lobster fisherman he was able to give our Norwegian friends Ivan and Elisabeth on s/v Dumle valuable information about sailing the Atlantic to New York.
