Winter is coming.

Loy and Linda are ready to leave Wilmington, NC and start South. Hang around sailboats long enough and you already know what the next line is. We are waiting for parts to arrive. This time it is a compressor for the refrigeration. All of the other projects the boat yard is doing are complete. Of course we will have projects going on wherever we are like installing new insulation in the engine compartment, but that is just the way of living on a boat. Linda says wisely, "Cruising is learning to love the port you are stuck in." Today is Thursday Dec. 1 and we hope to be underway by Saturday Dec. 3, but life is too short and precious to have a stroke over schedules. It is starting to get cold here. Winter must be coming.
