A Note About Leaving Comments for Loy & Linda

Hi, it's the Web Lackey here. I know there have been a number of people who have visited Sandpiper Adventures but have gotten a little

  • confused,
  • intimidated,
  • frustrated, or
  • all of the above
when trying to leave comments. Since Sandpiper Adventures doesn't allow "anonymous" comments, you have to register with Blogger (the website host) before you can leave a comment.

There's a document available by clicking this link which describes the process, and tells you about some of the steps you can leave out. I tried to make it a bit more accessible by including it with the web log description, but for arcane technical reasons it keeps disappearing from there. So just follow the link shown above to get the inside scoop, and I'll repost it from time to time as a reminder for newcomers or late bloomers.

And a word of precaution to those of you who aren't accustomed to web logs. Remember that everything you post as a comment is visible to everyone who visits Sandpiper Adventures -- they're public, not private. So don't include any personal information that you wouldn't publish in a full-page ad in the Tribune. If you want to send a message to Loy & Linda privately, use the e-mail link just above their picture at the top-left side of the first web page. (By the way, if you have a technical question or problem, you can contact the Web Lackey by using the e-mail link below their picture.)
